IN SEARCH OF PERFECTION or THE TOURNAMENT MOTIONS
During our tournament we will discuss what has long interested the minds of philosophers and ordinary people – perfection. Yet, considering the current social status of the debaters (i.e. graduate student), the motions are surely related to all the problems and issues that occupy an average student's mind.
In the 1st round we will talk about 'the best place to study at'; 2nd and 3rd rounds will go on under 'work&play' theme. Hence, we direct our debating skills towards analyzing educational systems, job opportunities and work conditions, leisure and spare time.
In the semi-final round we will think of 'the best place to live in'. Not surprisingly, we will talk about lovely Asia and all the exciting, nerve-chilling, and of course debatable issues associated with Asian region.
Let the search for perfection begin and the perfection to be found! Good luck to all teams!
